Senior Solutions was established in 1973 to promote the well being and dignity of older Vermonters in southeastern Vermont. The organization believes that every person should be able to age in the place of their choice with the support they need and the opportunity for meaningful relationships and active engagement in their community. * Senior Solutions is one of five private, nonprofit agencies who make up the membership of the Vermont Association of Area Agencies on Aging (V4A). They are partially funded by the federal Older Americans Act to support older Vermonters maintain the ability to live independently with needed supports as their incomes and abilities decline through the years. Through additional grant funding such as the National Council on Aging, Senior Solutions provides benefits screening and application assistance for a variety of state and federal benefit programs. There is no charge for services provided by Senior Solutions.
